Sounds as if someone is selling the culls instead of doing the right thing.  One thing to remember I think is if they are not good enough for you then its doubtful if they are good enough for anyone else either.  My thoughts anyway. Good day. Ed

make sure they are fit and healthy and get them in the basket send them to the races, you will then see what they are made of.

Thats a very wise decision and one that most will not or doesn't want to do, but sooner or later its one we all have to make.  Smarter ones just made the decision sooner.  Me well I was one of the late ones....  ;D ;D  Ed
