PIGEON_MAN Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 One of the best things i,ve done in the club is the bonus ball in the lottery, think there are 49 numbers so if you can get people to have these each week thats £49,if you say pay out £25 or £30 prizemoney you make £24 or £19 per week for the club. The only problem is collecting the money in each week but if you can get each member to get their family or freinds to have a go each week they could probably get the money to you. It,s surprising how the funds soon build up in the club.

DOVEScot Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Have a treasure hunt, for our wee treasure Coxy, I am sure you will make loads ;D
Fair Play Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Check out how many schools are in the local area, get the members to nominate birds to fly in a mini league. The fanciers could get a pool of birds together get the schools to draw them out and take them to the schools so they can see which birds are representing the school ,give them photos and a weekly mark-up of the race results that way you will generate interest, publise it in the local papers and have a final race add up the points and give a trophy to the winning school. If you get a few kids interested then you have "won a watch"
