Ronnie Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Hi could someone tell me if i am aloud to race WHU pigeons i bought them last year as young birds and i transferred them with the WHU but i live in England do i have to registar them with the RPRA or can i just race them. The reason i ask is when i recently moved house and informed the rpra i got a list of all the birds i changed address with but the Whu birds where not on it.
REDCHEQHEN Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 You need to inform WHU of your change of address - and as long as you have the transfer card with the birds in your name - you should not have a problem - if you win anything - the organisation will check with the WHU to make sure the bird is registered in your name - thats how the NEHU do it, and I would have thought that the RPRA was similar - I have welsh birds as well, the card was shown to the club to show it was registered to us the WHU have an e-mail address, something like gail@................. perhaps a welsh member can provide it
Guest Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 yup you wont have a prob, i have all WHU rings now as if I have RPRA rings I have to register these with the WHU at 25p per ring. But if I buy WHU rings at begining of the year I just pay one fee for the rings and can race these in RPRA races as well as WHU races. Contact details for WHU are:- WHU : Old Timothy's Yard, Llanfoist Street, Ton Pentre, Rhondda CF41 7EE tel/fax 01443 441010 Email: gail@whpu.org.uk
