Guest TAMMY_1 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 A while back i wrote to the shu office complaining about the problems about delivering pigeons in the uk,here is the reply sent to me, Dear Mr Garvie I refer to your letter concerning poor service recieved from Amtrak the matter was discussed at the SHU statuatory meeting in October which the council was advised that none of the companys spoken to had responded regarding the possibillity of providing an alternative carriage service. SHU President John Barlow has raised the matter with the confederation and I understand contact is to be made with Amtrak and arrangements made for confederation delegates to meet with that company's representative, I will contact you again when i have further information. Guest Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Tammy dont mean to criticize but if we keep getting at this company they might draw out of pigeons and then we are in sh-- street i have never had a bad experience with them but i do sympathize with people who have but when we get down to one company thats a problem in its own the word (monopoly) jumps to mind
