matt Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 hi, i bought a bird from louellas website this was two and a half months ago, the original bird i picked was sick so they sead michal would pick me another and what a pick he made cracking little hen,however i still even after contacting them through e-mail and phone conversations have not been sent a ped or even confermation of what breed the bird is i have had the transfer but nothing else, i would have bought more birds as i have liked the look of a few on the site but dare i buy another, im not happy what do you think i should do? thanks matt
Fair Play Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Unless you purchase one of the more expensive birds (If you did) then I would expect some kind of pedigree. I bought 2 and knew I would only receive a certificate of origin.Thats their way of cutting the cost

I bought 2 and knew I would only receive a certificate of origin.Thats their way of cutting the cost see what your saying but the bird i picked i could see its ped online the new bird i have no clue what it came from,i havent even had a certificate of origin.even so if they are selling birds showing there ped online you should recive it i did not pay huge amounts for the bird but i payed enough for a pd to come with it.and when i phoned they sead nothing about the bird not coming with a ped just they would look in to it

I bought 2 and knew I would only receive a certificate of origin.Thats their way of cutting the cost you should still get the pedigree,it is a site were the pedigree is shown and thats the one you get,a few lads i know have purchased birds off there new site and have recieved there pedigrees,but it takes about 10-14 days to get them i think.

Guest Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 My experience with them a few years back - pedigree is very slow to come, sometimes a month or so behind the pigeon. Suspected then it was a manual typed-up thing, rather than computer generated.

Suspected then it was a manual typed-up thing, rather than computer generated. I bought a braspenning cock late last year and it was the same then the pedigree came about a month to six weeks later.
