You will eventually find out who the spineless b*st*rd is, and you will be shocked! Its always someone you know, someone you think is really friendly, and who you would have thought would have been the last person to do such a callous trick. Have endured similar experiences meself, just recently my stock loft was reported as having mice! The Environmental Health guy came out, inspected my house, found nothing, had a look round the loft, found nothing, even had a conversation with me about the birds, couldn't believe the costs and efforts that went in to them! Left saying that should he receive any more complaints, unless they were serious, he'd more than likely file them in the B1N file! PMSL! Don't let them get to you Chickadee, just concentrate on enjoying your birds! Stuff the jealous b*st*rds!

Don't think so, If it is then they have to be a fellow Fifer and stay in the area as they know all about us.

 

Just found out that "Polly" the fifer that has trouble with "Coxy"  is from Glenrothes but would not be her as she is really friendly with Chickadee and myself :-/

 

There is of coarse "The Fifer" we seem to have upset him in the past, we have sent him PM's but he never even opened them let alone answer them but I wouldn't know him if he knocked my door tonight:-/

 

So as they say "It's a mystery" for now at least :'( :'( :'(

They say that they have to follow up any complaints annonymus or not, or maybe they just don't give out details

I think if it's just spiteful then the complainer should be charged for waisting council officials time :-/

It's not the council officials that I have a problem with, it's the sh##bag that keeps reporting me for nothing. The officials just turn up and say no problem, every thing is fine, but they have to act on complaints that are made > > >

sorry DOVEScot, not me i wouldnt complain about pigeons as i keep them, also dont know you or where u live, looked at ur nice cottage but cant place it, and i cant remember being upset by you, and if we have i never hold a grudge, i myself am having problems with neighbours, next doot they built a high wall which did,nt bother me but they then built a barbicue on it right behinnd my loft. and our garden is a bit higher than theirs so all the smoke just goes in throw my top vents, and i am bad at not deleting my PMs so often full up and miss some, anyway hope all goes well with ur problem, yes there are a few people around who just cant let others get on with their lives, all the best.

 

ps. i would think that for anyone to have a complaint about feathers from ur loft would have to be living very close to you,

IN ANY DISPUTE,THE COUNCIL ARE OBLIGED TO MEDIATE BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES INVOLVED.

ASK THEM TO MEDIATE ON THIS ONE-THEN YOU WILL FIND OUT WHO.

YOU HAVE RIGHTS AS WELL AS THE COMPLAINENTS.

IF IT CAN BE SETTLED AMICABLY-ALLTHE BETTER

Dovescot I think you are out of order simply pulling a name off the site and nameing them as a possible suspect, you clearly do not know The Fifer and all he has done for the pigeon sport. Maybe you should ask Polly, she will let you know how helpfull he has been to her, by the way I also live in Fife, so does that make me a suspect? :-/  Do the right thing and find out who is responsible, and then be man enough to come back on the forum and appologise to The Fifer

please please please ,, dont even think about blaming the fifer,, never in a million years ,, this man has done far more good for the pigeon fanciers ,[without making a big  deal out of it , not even asking for a thankyou] i dont blame you for being upset, at the carry on your having, but dont get paranoid, and start blaming wily nily,, im sure , with a wee bit patience , youll find out who is the culprit ,[or find out away to stop your birds moulting  ;D] no, im sure this will surface ,,and youll get to the bottomof it,, it is rediculous someone moaning about feathers ,, never mind, the leaves will overtake the feathers shortly , , wonder if the neighbour will complain to the council about them,,they probably will ;D, thats when the council find out the crackpots, and allthough they have to follow up,,,will take no notice, as they will be well used to them

That's exactly what I meant, I was answereing a post, I only know two Fifers on this site, One is Polly and she is friendly with Chickadee and myself and the other is The Fifer and I have had no trouble with him either, just thought it stange that we have sent him six PM's in the past and he never opened them let alone answer them, but never thoght for a minute he was contacting the council

I am peed off because it seams to be one of my neighbours, all of which are friendly it seems on the outside, yet reporting unfounded compaints to the authorities on the otherside

This time it being a cracker because the nature of the complaint is absolutely rediculous, the feathers are from a dovecote on my front lawn and due to them being confined in a homing net, there are feathers in my and next doors front lawns both of which I maintain ????????

I cut both lawns regularily but have cut back a bit so less stress to the birds in the cote and obviously coudn't cut the grass inside the netted area, and all my neighbours new this was temporary and is in fact now been taken down and both lawns have been cut, so I find it very strange that any of the others would complain even though the feathers did not effect them ???????

It may not be a neighbour at all. It may be someone with a grudge against you or any one of your family. One thing for certain, they know you and they know your address. Think that rules out most if not all of 'basics members.

I agree totally with your theory and it does rule out most on Pigeon Basics but certainly not all,

There is a lot of members know our address, either though me, Chickadee or Cabin Boy as we have invited a lot of members to visit through PM's or through buying pigeons :-/
