REDCHEQHEN Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 It might not be broken but there are threads on here to give advice use the search facility - but heres a link to start http://www.pigeonbasics.com/forum/blah/m-1180986531/s-12/highlight-broken+leg/#num12
The White Rapido Man Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 or maybe its not relayys strong enough to fly, and callapsed in a heap...is it pulling the leg up..or is it dangling? with no power in it at all??
jimmy white Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 if your able to dangle the leg easily most ways ittl be broken,, but i feel its just injured its leg ,either way ive found the best way is to leave them alone , they soon learn to hop about and at that age [even if broken, would near knit in a fortnight] ive found splints and other methods [home made splints , plaster cast etc , in fact can make the bird worse , by stopping the blood flow and swelling the leg, foot ,,,but only my opinion good luck to you with it [you can make a hammock out of a pair of old tights with its two feet dangling through] but still found leaving it alone is better , it learns quicker to gradualy use it
