Guest Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Youngbird from 07 returned today with metal ring removed.The same month last year two young birds returned together with metal rings intact but had been throught full molt obviously been prisoners.Has this been a problem for years or does it seem to be a new trend. quite angry why would someone want to keep a bird they now nothing about.

jimmy white Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 you often find yb ,s returning at this time of the year,, maybe nature telling them ,,,breeding ,,back to old loft have had the odd one come back without a ring on , but must admit, not many ,, i think it could possibly be kids ,,,or the ignorant
