I've a weakness for chocolates, feel free to send me a box ;D

Light blue chequer cocks.

Blue hens, the wider and darker the bars the better.

Hated darks and dark chequers but must admit growing quite fond of them now.

I think being black gives them crisp lines that make them stand out. Most of mine when youngsters have had a reddish tinge to them, but one or two were definitely 'bronze', browny-black - versions of immature black? But after the moult mine turn 'coal black' and they do have a unique shine to them, just like coal used to shine, 'black gold' - I hope.  ;D

But my 1st love is still grizzles.  8)

Mealy hens and pure mealy cocks, powder blues with broad bars, all stunners but I'm particularly fond of dark cheqs... you know - the real dark ones with small silver cheqs?  - not sure what they're called.

One thing is for sure... their colour gets better and better the more winning they do.

Enjoy.
