Guest Paulo Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Can someone explain to me how the NFC works? I'm in the NEHU not the RPRA so would I have to join the RPRA? Then where are birds taken to be marked and how much birdage is etc etc
PIGEON_MAN Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Can someone explain to me how the NFC works? I'm in the NEHU not the RPRA so would I have to join the RPRA? Then where are birds taken to be marked and how much birdage is etc etc There is no mention in the rules that you have to be a RPRA member to join it just say all members lofts must be situated in the UK.There are approx.10 marking stations througout the country and loads of clock stations as well.I believe the race fees are fixed nearer the date of the first race, but if you go onto the NFC web page you should get more info. there.
Guest Vic Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Surely with the NFC secretary living a stones throw away, a quick call would solve it all!

Guest Paulo Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 Surely with the NFC secretary living a stones throw away, a quick call would solve it all! Wouldn't care but I was up seeing Davie Barkel a few weekends ago and Sid was there I should have asked then. Just curious thats all been on the website but it doesn't really tell you much about marking stations etc. I wouldn't really fancy it if I had to take my birds to sheffield or leeds to basket them. Think I'll drop Sid an e-mail or give Davie a ring. Thanks for your help everyone. Plus Vic you can't ask these mackems for information too much they might crow on about Newcastles poor performances too much. I felt like an enemy agent undercover on my visit to Ryhope I thought I would perhaps wear my Newcastle top but Davie might have filled me in and burnt it lol ;D ;D
