Does anyone know the significance of a Belg rung bird with a cylindrical shaped gold ring with what looks like "Natural Antwerp" inscribed on it?

it shows it bred by the natural breeding station

Well they must be pretty dumb!! the ring is so tight its cutting into the poor birds leg and to add insult to "injury" some jokers has stuck an ets ring on top of it and probably has the audacity to be disappointed that it did'nt make it home. Some pigeons are really unlucky who they get to own them!

prob a bird purchased through Colin Surtees from the Natural Breeding Station.

Do you mean a bird bred in England but someone has stuck a Belgian ring on it as a sales gimmick?

Are they not split rings?

I thought they were crimped on latter rather than rung with the normal rings, but think most cut them off!
