ChrisMaidment08 Posted July 26, 2008 Author Report Posted July 26, 2008 ah but he does not drive as far as im concerned he can walk this bird got home he never let me know he put clip ring on tossed it its here
Fair Play Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 If I get a bird in that will not clear and is reported the first thing I ask is the bird valuable if not is it worth your time and trouble to arrange transport or, you can leave it here, myself, I like to get my own back as mistakes happen with humans and birds.

gangster Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 strays and the lack of coursety show to peaple who help all of us with reporting our birds im with you on that chris..theres 2 sides to the coin 1.i phoned a chap his bird was hit by a car ...a very nice chap indeed he was happy to be informed of what happened 2 it , ive sent his ETS ring to him and crushed its life ring..........on the other hand i reported another not 20 miles from here he phoned when i was unavailable and spoke to my son telling him to tell me 2 kill it coz its banged its wing......out of order??????? also i must add nearly everyone whose birds ive helped repatriate have been brilliant and courtious bar 1.....
Guest peter.j Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Chris with you packing in this now makes you a non fancier report it and make them pay twice when the union repatriates it .......pete

joe61 Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 shadow was there not a levy put on clubs a while back as pigeon racing is a sport not a hobby or did fanciers hit the roof for nothing oh happy days
Guest peter.j Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 as a non fancier i could cause problems but i wont but i have left 4 messages spoken to his daughter why should i cull why should i have to have it s ing on my window my point on putting this on hear is because i have always been fair and more than helpful chris nobody is saying your not being helpful, but a fancier who cant be arsed [for want of a better word] picking a stray up off you after youve been out of your way with the same bird once before in my book doesnt deserve helping..........pete
Guest spin cycle Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 shadow was there not a levy put on clubs a while back as pigeon racing is a sport not a hobby or did fanciers hit the roof for nothing oh happy days i thought that it was because pigeon racing wasn't recognised as a sport that club premises became liable for business rates because sports clubs are exempted....if i'm wrong..i'm wrong but thats what i thought.
