Guest Freebird Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Of course. No different to any other site. Name and shame like the old way. To many good/wise guys on here so they must be finding it difficult.

ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 why would some who is a partnership of 3 want to ask for birds free or really cheap on diffrent sites when he has done so well to date flying this person needs to think hard on his requests on line and please do not say they are for someone else it does not wash or make sense when you could breed youer own??????new starters novices are loseing out be cause of you and i for one dont like it
ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 so i ask you to stop think and leave well alone
bewted Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 so i ask you to stop think and leave well alone i dont like it either and some newbie is missing out too maybe !!!!
jimmy_84 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 when i first came here i asked for a few birds ROLLERS i did get some to start me of which i am greatful for and i am now looking to buy birds early in 2009
pjc Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 I know exactly who you are refering to Chris, he has done this same thing on other sites and it has been pointed out to him! He askes for birds for daughter etc, then when offered birds doesn't want to even pay carriage etc! He also advertises enough stuff on e-bay as well and it doesn't wash with most people! I have been taken advantage of on many occasions, having lost count of the number of newcomers that i've given birds to and loaned birds to to get started. Many of the loan birds have never been returned and the people dissapear! I still do it but whenever loan anything its only now going to be something i an afford to lose. Phil
cottage lofts Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 i just like to point out that the products thats on ebay and what sells are not mine they are my father in laws products, i am not trying to scam birds off anyone, i am trying to do the best with the situation i have been dealt. as people who know me can vouch for. i dont want to take advantage of anyone, full stop.. the birds for my dughter are genuine and indeed i will be buying a few next year for her. thanks for the reply's i have had so far for 2009 youngsters, i have archived them in my inbox for referance when i get the money together for them. people are quick to judge when thet dont know the full facts. i am not the greatest of writers as i failed english at school, so i may have posted something, that people can take the wrong way. i am sorry for any false impressions i have made of my self and my daughter. but if you find that i am not genuine, i cannot alter your impression of us, i regret even asking for help..... sorry again jon
Guest tomo68 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 i hope he dont mean me lol i am greatful too as i had 4 birds given to me free which are the only ones i have recieved free, but these birds are on loan only as if and when i decide i no longer need them they will be going back to the person i got them from, i have decided to start a small group of fancy pigeons and am looking to get into showing but am willing to pay for them if need be, i have already agreed to give my birds to someone for free as i think if you get them for free you can help someone else out for free.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 i dont like it either and some newbie is missing out too maybe !!!! just put bit on osmans see what he says
ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 cottage loft you are on other sites jumping in on birds and asking for birds on here for 5 year old for nothing you fly an extremly good bird and can breed or buy birds at going rate nfc results fed results you pm peaple yet if money in volved thats it short and sweet no thanks by saying for 5 year old peaple will not charge ??? this is out of order and i hope peaple on line withdraw offers to you and you have to pay like the rest of us new starters novice,s free old hands pay
Guest mikkey Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 ive been given and bought birds from this site and ive been given birds from people off the roller site.... i have now bred birds from the birds i have been given........ so i now see this as enough help for me as far as freebies go........ some people do seem to take the p*ss going round different sites giving sob storys and asking for birds but as soon as money is mentioned they dont want to know or make up excuses.............if you are genuinely struggling fair enough you will get help but dont con people because the people you are conning will not help anybody out in the future........
Guest tomo68 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Mikkey i know what your saying as ive read on the roller site
Guest strapper Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 i was helped when i started back in 2007 the season b4 ...in 06 i mentioned i was thinking of starting back up, a certain top fancier helped me out with 12 terrific birds...which im eternally gratefull. if someone is getting birds under false pretences then its a poor show...but b4 slating them we must know the entire story behind it,as we all know, else it can paint someone wrongly.
