Right!

All my local clubs are rubbish! I've tried hard to get in to one but no joy, they're either shutting down, not enough room on transporter at the momment or just out of catchment, to be frank no wonder the sport is going down the pan, you'd think people would be falling over themselves for a new starter.

I will join the only local one to me but won't be able to race saturdays as no room on transporter but they are starting a midweek race which if nothing else will be training for the birds & training for me! I also won't be able to get cards or something as i am out of catchment! whatever! just wanna race my pigeons!

Anyway! I'm gonna join the north east provincial as this seems the only way i'm gonna get to race these birds on a saturday in the near future, I didn't want to do this because i'm completely bloody skint & it costs £100.

My problem now is this, as i'm not in a club i don't know my long/lat & need to put this on the application, I joined rpra to get rings so do i get them to give it me?

I tell you what, the amount of calls & questioning i've had to do to get this far is mad, no wonder people don't bother, don't think it helps me not really knowing anyone racing in area.

Cheers for now, james.

Also, if i was a member of nepc to i have to pay a subscrition to the mnfc to take part in the mnfc races? The nepc application form has a bit asking for mnfc member no?...i'm confused...again l.o.l

Is it a ruling in the NEPC that you have to join the MNFC to be a member of the NEPC,If not then thats up to you wether you join or not,as for getting your long.and lat.that is a bigger problem, normally when you join a local club the secretary will come round and mark your loft location on a map send it off to the RPRA and then you will get your long.and lat,I just noticed you say you can join your local club so the sec.or a official should sort that out for you when you join.

sorry you are having trouble, why not call rpra and ask how you are supposed to get a loft location if none of local clubs will do it. it may be possible for you to mark a map and send it to them. also i've heard somewhere about giving the rpra your address and they take the location as your house...but i'm not sure. you can get an os explorer map of your area for about £7-50 and have a go yourself
