shotgun tim Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i got told they dont get theres til jan
jimmy white Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i personally cant see any advantage whatsoever breeding yb,s to race ,, in dec what your ringing [if you manage to get foreign rings ] are really the currant years, late , late breds , most of these go down when trained 6 months later
Geraint Parry Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i think every one should get there rings in dec if you like to breed early or not Could they then be classed as 2009 bred youngsters?? as they would be bred in 2008?? Also re. rings from holland etc, there is a rpra rule that states something about birds been rung with rings from their country of origin.
Lightning McQueen Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i think you must be on about North West homing Union rings NWHU posted 2nd January....
Gail J Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 WHU rings will be posted same as NWHU and NEHU 2nd January, (as long as the post office is open)
newbold Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i think all uk rings are sent out 1st posting day in january inclouding mnfc
just ask me Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 fair play jimmy i cant see any good reasons to breed that earlly
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Louella get there rings early obviously the demand for rings earlier is there so why doesnt the union respond to this as there supposed to be looking after its members needs not just the odd stud because they would truley be that years young birds, bel;g/nl/ germany only have them as they race earlier than us
