can you tell me when you get your  rings for 2009

 

as here in ireland we get them in january

Yeah, it happens more than what people would think as well.

Louella get there rings early obviously the demand for rings earlier is there so why doesnt the union respond to this as there supposed to be looking after its members needs not just the odd stud

well louella will get more yb kits out , others will use natural darkness i.e birds born in winter months

i got a dutch yb, race rubbered, in end of may.....breed early /race early...i suppose.  perhaps its just where you draw the line .

bit i can see no advantage for young bird racing for breeding so earlly

i think louella uses mnfc rings on their early bred pigeons

as these come out in dec

i think most would at some time like the rings early but if we move it to bieng able to get them before the turn of the year where will it stop? i think we mess about too much with nature allready so if we move it too say nov. will the birds carring 2009 rings bred in nov 2008 be 2008/2009 birds ????????
