Guest cloudview Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 does any body know if british studs or big team men , sell there birds on belgium , holland , french , web sites or send birds over for auction and if not why not, surely by now we have better than what they can provide
just ask me Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 in my opinion the belg birds still the best wouldent we belling back what we bought in most cases
Guest cloudview Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 why do think the belgium birds are the best, may be back a few years ago ithink the british fancier has improved the original strains
OLDYELLOW Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 coals to newcastle i believe a few swap birds as friend of mine got birds from a bloke who had them bred in belgium via birds he had sent over no details of which flyers but i thought a bit strange but then again Logan swappped with sion and bricoux , so dont see why not
OLDYELLOW Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Barcellona winners in england bloke at Hull won a big international as well so i think there is a few lofts here better than over the pond , just our structure is not as good as theres and we should be aiming above club level to a more national approach to races from the channel
bewted Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 all pigeons are swapped around in all lofts on the continent,,,,,,lots of fanciers think there pure this and pure that pay big prices and all pigeons are is crosses !!
just ask me Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 well u might be right but still away to go in my opinion with the bird age they race against and level of competition is top class and even if u look at the top british birds take the last few years sprint champions would bet there not to man generations down from pigeons that were bought from belguim anyway
OLDYELLOW Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 100% pure is a laugh as you say, as the top blokes swap pigeons round only thing thats 100% its pigeon
Guest cloudview Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 one reason i ask is the homing world lately is full of forien bred birds , why dont they sell them in own country

bewted Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 one reason i ask is the homing world lately is full of forien bred birds , why dont they sell them in own country coz were stupid over here and they know they can get better price here than in there own country !!!
thunderboult Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 one reason i ask is the homing world lately is full of forien bred birds , why dont they sell them in own country they won't pay the over the top prices we do

Guest cloudview Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 well i may be right or most likely wrong but i believe most of our ilness with birds nowadays is from buying generations of propped up birds from the continet theres afew fanciers i know of still racing pre 1970 strains they dont get ybs , dont lose many and dont treat for every thing under the i know who,d i sooner buy off

just ask me Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 right sure between us all we an answer these questions to prove something 1, the lst 5 rpra sprint champions and there breeding and where the original belg birds are in there pedigree 2,top results of fanicers in international racing into england and the breed of brids they were and where the Belg or foreign birds are in there pedigree think this might answer the original question and a bit of fun looking
