thats the strange bit :) :)   they dont seem to :) the parents sit tighter ,, the only thing to watch is, if using any lighting ,, to use a dimmer ,, so that their all on their eggs ok  :)

shu rings issued on the first postal date in january 5th this year

clubs can issue after the 1st as most feds have them by the middle of december

Might be worth taking eggs in to the house for a couple o' days put pot eggs under the parents and then put propper eggs back under a couple o' days later. You'll get the rings on then !

Far too early for me but if you have 'em you could delay the hatch by 3 days may be.

I am gonna split mine at Christmas. My babbies will be bread in the warmth and grow overnight like mushrooms.

i ve paired my stock birds up at the same time every year,it can be freezing they dont seem to bother,the yb are always strong and robust never had any prob with them,and i always get my rings on time unless the postie late hope he isint because ive 31 pair down then iam in sh** creek  ;D ;D winter breeding does take time and youve got to feed correctly and condition them to make them want to go down when its minus 6 i love it best part of year appart from racing  :P

So how are you gonna get rings on a nine day old babby[/quote they be already rung at nine days if i had to plenty of vasaline, a dry cloth and a little bit of care not to break there toes,ive done it a few times :)
