DODC Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 What kind of soup. The Clay bowls are the best .use a nestfelt with it . ;)
pjc Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 The only clay bowls I have found recently have holes on the bottom and need to be used with a nest felt but you may be able to find some solid ones if you search the net. Phil
Guest IB Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 I don't know if you can still get clay bowls. Most of the bowls I've seen are plastic. I've used paper mache dandynests in the past, but don't think they are too hygienic. I use the german design, in my opinion its the most hygienic and allows an air flow under and through the nest. Needs a nest felt though, lots of bad publicity on them just now, I use the latex bonded ones, and I keep them - wash & disnifected every year. So if you are going to use them, be careful which you choose. Boddy & Ridewood are probably the stockist with the most varieties and the nest bowls pages are at the link below. http://www.everythingforpets.com/category/use/dept.171

Guest ljb107 Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Hi I bought the belgian super nestbowls the other day from boddy & ridewood and I am very pleased with them, I would recommend them. Lloyd
Guest shadow Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 the plastic ones are far easier to clean and disinfect at the end of the breeding season
