help with PC

having problems on start up as every thing seems to come up together and very slow to what it has been and very slow shut down,,,,,i have done disc defrag and cleaner,but,still same problem,,,when i switch it on i get a small box with words window installer in words at top of small box in middle of screen,this has only been doing this the last few days !!!

 

can any one help at all please as its driving me nuts just now and dont get too technical as i am not very good in computers !!!

had a look at that,but,its a bit beyond me at the moment as reading to technical,did try as it said,but,differant thing come up on screen than shown in pic !!!

also forgot to add on my message,,,,,my screen keeps freezing with like a milky film,if,thats the best way to describe it and keep getting small window in middle of screen saying `not installing` on some os the sites i go on,any ideas anyone ?

after password access i get window in box with windows installer,,,inside box are words preparing to install,when i press cancel box,wont do it !!

 

second box comes up with hp photosmart essential in the box it says`please wait while windows configures hp photosmart essential !!

 

clicking on the small cancel boxes in them dont seem to have no effect for quite awhile !

sounds like your computer is a hp or compaq has installed updates you need to install these and your computer will go back to normal by canceling these they will just keep coming back up at certain intervals , install the computer will restart and load the new updates then you should be back to normal by the way mines a compaq made by hp

cant you do a system restore to change the setting back to how they were a few days ago?

sounds like your computer is a hp or compaq has installed updates you need to install these and your computer will go back to normal by canceling these they will just keep coming back up at certain intervals , install the computer will restart and load the new updates then you should be back to normal by the way mines a compaq made by hp

done that a few times and made no differance,but,just talked to grasshopper lofts on phone and he may have solved problem for me,i will know a bit later !!!

and i bet the maker is compaq or hewlard packard , mine does same thing updates just need installing then wil be fine again   , hope Damians sorted it for you Ted

Never a truer word spoken etc (wink wink) after 10 years I just had to get a new one here recently (it was utter crap) & I will not tell you the trouble it was causing (smile smile cry cry) but certain people wanted to kill me etc. Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!, Not being to bright with computors/pigeons I just this morning etc (thank chr*st) finished deleting one by one 17,765 emails, from my computor. "Boy oh Boy" I now have 2 fingers that are absolutely knackered one could say. Being who I'm  & seeing as this appears to be the help line ????????????? here for all the desperates with computor problems etc, could some one please help me "Big time" because I cannot for the life of me, get my funny faces to work here & I miss them. So anybody here that wishes to help someone ????????? who is the next best thing to hopeless on computors etc, "Please do" & I will be forever grateful.

tried computer this morning and back to same problems after getting help last night,but,it has speeded it up a bit more in browsing on internet !!!
