Fun Competition to raise money for Phoebe

In this post I’ll attach 7 pics of eyes they aren’t the greatest pics cause I ain’t got an slr camera, it’s just point and shoot. I will list below the details of the 7 birds owning the 7 eyes. You have to pick which eye has which description, so for example if you think the pigeon that is listed below as no 3 is eye b you’d put; B3. What I would ask is that anyone entering will send a donation to Ally Mac for Phoebe’s fund, as much as you want or as little as you can afford could I suggest perhaps £5 each as a standard?

Details of Birds, whose eyes will appear below

1Breeder of 1st section NFC 290 miles

2 Breeder of good distance birds including one to win in the top 2% of classic racing to Pau 550 miles.

3 Two y.o. Hen full sister to 1st section NFC 304 miles, breeding a winner in first year of breeding.

4 1st 473 miles

5 2nd 473 miles

6 4th 304 miles, flown NFC Tarbes 556 as a yearling next morning, would have been about 22nd section if I’d taken my clock back out.

7 2nd 225 miles, 2nd 304 miles, 78th open NFC Tarbes 556 miles all as a yearling.

Two points for every correct match. As a tie breaker, if you get the 1st or 2nd 473 miles the wrong way around, you’ll get 1 pt (because they were found in the loft together).

Hope that makes sense. Closes 10 pm next Sunday 21st December.

Just trying to add some fun and hopefully make some money for Phoebe. I’ll give a pair of Yb out of any pair in my loft (except 17 whose 1st pair is promised to a friend) to the winner (if there is more than one person with the same amount of points there will be a tie braker), you don’t have to have them if you don’t want them.

Hiya excellent news. Allun Maul has offered a yearling cock as 1st prize to the winner of this competition. To be able to compete for Alun's cock you must make a £5 donation to Phoebe via Ali Mac. Any person can enter a maximum of 5 times @ £5 a time. Anyone can still enter for fun but they will only be competing for the consolation prize of a pair of YB from me.

Alun will post a pic and details of the bird on this thread tomorrow. Many thanks to Alun. I hope you will all take part, its a great cause and a bit of fun.

For those that have already entered you may if you wish change your choices, not because I have checked them but simply because you may want to look at it a bit more seriuosly when there is on offer a bird from one of the best.

Hello Albear this is the cock i picked from the aivery today for the competion he was a latebred 2007 and has not been bred from. If whoever wins him is not happy with him after 2 seasons breeding i will replace him.

 

His sire is the best of our Meuliman x Van Loon pigeons he has bred winners with different hens. His G Sire was also the g sire of 20th open in final race Million Dollar Sun City. His G Dam was a very good breeder from our original Tape Ring Pigeons from Hudson & Lowe.

 

His dam is a Janssen x De Klak a Double G dtr of Comb Van Diest No 1 breeder "Dark Pearl" who is responsible for many Ace Pigeons for this small team partnership inc The "451" 1st Fed 2,000 birds, 1st Fed 4,000 birds in 2005 & 1st Fed 9,559 birds 1st Fed 8,223 birds in 2006. These pigeons have crossed in well with our family inc a 1st Sec 3rd open WSENFC 3rd Combine Maidstone over 8,000 birds full pedigree will be supplied to winner Good Luck.
