the only thing you may want to give them are electrolytes to prevent dehydration, but birds are very adaptable to heat change.

I believe the myth of Electrolytes should be put up and reality faced. They actually dehydrate birds etc.

Indeed as a very well known - Worldwide- vet told me, the worst thing a a bird needs when getting home is being dehydrated more!
