Hello All ,

I have a Race Cock Who I allowed to rear a pair of Youngster , second round eggs I placed under feeders after 5 days sitting , His Hen will lay Her first egg of the third round ....will place these under feeders also , question is what effect (if any) will this have on His form during the Season ?

Has Anyone done this before ?

never tried it but i would imagine his first flight will drop that bit later during the racing season but i dont think it will have much effects to his racing

 

please let us know what u have found from this situation cause im doing something along the same lines

if he has only fed 1 nest it wont affect him other to help start his wing moult i knew a very good fancier who used to clash every nest in the bin when it suited him to get birds ready for a particular race  some he would want driving some sitting 7days so he would clash the nests on a regular basis toget thease nest conditions
