has anyone ever treid  not feeding the birds after the racing and just let them defend for there self on open bolw till next season  

 

are you asking -open hole after the racing's finished and not feeding them again until racing the next year? .  it's not something i'd like to try.

Yes,years ago in lanarkshire,think it was Burrell Bros or Weeks from Douglas Water area and they had some fantastic results the following seasons.

I remember reading this was practised by a some many moons ago, the way agriculture is nowadays with all the chemicals they pump into the land I don’t think It would do them a lot of good.
