YB on the house roof

Hi let my YB out for the first time today,  try to let them out for 1 hour but when i went to get them in they all just went on the house roof and wont come into the loft.

 

how do i get them in?????

 

My head is in bits wi trying to get them in the loft :'( :'( :'( :'(

just leave them they will come in when they are hungry

lock um out and as getting dark let um in

ive had the same problem dont let them get in to the habit of doing it....pete

giving them to much grub dont fill them up at night until they know whose boss try and let them know if they go on the roof top no corn.

a couple of old hens with them may help teach them to trap quicker, but also a little less food

Mine were like that the first couple of times, not coming in until nearly dark, with one sleeping out overnight, but after a couple of days of very small feed rations they started coming in no problem

ok so the message is cut the food down per bird.  Already lost one on the first day i got it, put them into the loft and that one got out in the roof tryed to get it in for two days now it has gone.

once you have them trapping on command,and they are flying better you should be ok .
