Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 has anyone seen the half sister to Champion Rode Bingo on elimar £450 ?
Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 yes just looked pity no picture .. yeah i know mate, its hard to buy pigeons without seeing first, but considering Rolands position as a top player, i think maybe it will look as good as it sounds, I personally prefer the you know what..
gangster Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 well i was at les parkys last year and i handled kline jos"s sire and brother they werte 2 crackers i think john and alex bought his sire...his brother was a bit larger than jos....a good investment when you see the price off louella...
Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 louella seem to be bringing their price down mate , but to far removed from originals if you get my drift, if i had to pick the best sprint family out there at the moment i could name 4 or 5 top people in belgium, Ronny would in my opinion be in there. as would Roland and then the other 3 which i will not name as yet.

Guest peter.j Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 excuse my ignorance but the fact its a half sister to a champion doesnt mean it can emulate the champion or produce the winning offspring ,so isnt the fact its advertised as half sister and the big price all just part of a clever sales pitch or has it done something on its own merits to warrant the price etc........pete

Guest peter.j Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 i know what your saying but most of my family are ugly and im a handsome barsteward ,genes in my case mean zip lol ;D ;D ;D ;D,no seriously but this bird only has half the genes that made up rode bingo the other half for all intents and purposes could be the donkey ,how old is the bird in question has it done anything and has its offspring thats all im saying its a big price to pay for something that as you put it may keep throwing to the donkey.....pete

I would buy some other sprint family which is just as good in my opinion and a little more reasonably priced.... regards

retired Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Half sister? Paul Terry is Johns full brother but not near the same talent!! Correct Mick i see your point 100% However Paul is still a good footballer and certainly was one of Yeovil's better players.
Guest malonebros Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 not in same league though chris ;D
retired Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 not in same league though chris ;D Agreed Stu - But for the normal fancier if they can achieve 50% of what Rode Bingo did the offsrping off this hen then its been a succesful purchase in my eyes.
Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 I think as soon as you decide to pay for something its a good deal as you would not buy it in the first place, when we buy new stock we hope if they have not got a proven record that many do turn out to repay us with what we term success. But is the hen as good as Rode Bingo.... maybe-maybe not?
gangster Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 id also like 2 know why she is for sale???? and with out running the bird down its in its 4 year???? has she bred the goods????????
