Perhaps you could enlighten me as to what the question really is then as I was only answearing others that had replied.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD FROM ONE OR TWO FANCIERS THAT SOME BIRDS FLY BETTER WHEN THE VOLOCITY IS /EXSAMPLE ONLY/ LIKE STAFF VAN REET SCORE BETTER WHEN VOLOCITY 1300 TO 1400 YARDS PER MIN BUSSCHARTES AT1050 TO 1300 YPER MIN ANY TRUTH IN IT

Well i guess that sprinters will do well with tail wind on an easy day and longer distance birds (real pigeons) will come to the forefront with lower velocities on a harder day

different type of pigeons for different days simple to say sprint birds are not real pigeons i suppose usain bolt not a real runner ive won plenty of races 500 mile some big races races too but i tell ya im sprinting now and the competition is mighty fierce and these sprint birds are bred for a different purpose would some of mine do 500 mile i don't know but then again would some of the birds that i had a few years back that did win big at 500 mile sprint the way these can i don't know either all i can say is both are trying both won at there respective fields

i think what i am trying to say is i have raced both 500 mile and 150 200 mile sprints would i value one over the other i dont think so

i know a lot will disagree with me here but each type of bird has there own attributes but to say sprint birds are not real pigeons i think is wrong we have enough trouble with in our sport between falling members hawks politics and the rest without trying to divide our own membership between sprint and distance we are all fanicers
