Guest
Not sure if this helps but i buy syringes from the Vets as my dog is diabetic so i have to syringe the insulin into him twice a day. I'm sure the vet does all sizes of syringes.

Guest Vic
When I injected mine a month or so ago for paratyphoid, I had the same problem. I first tried Boots, showing them the bottle and instructions, only to be knocked back, through all the druggies running free, in todays climate no doubt. Then I tried my own pharmacy. They supplied me with ten x 5ml 0.33mm (29g) x 12.7mm micro-fine insulin syringes. They were slightly larger than the ones reccommended on the bottle, but sufficient for the jab at hand. ;D If you can't get 'em, I will gladly post you 4 with no cost. Just pm me. Vic. Guest IB
Never had occasion to get needles, always came with my vaccine. Would have thought needles for use in humans would be too big for birds? Vic has put up sizes he got. The needles that come with Nobilis vaccine are 20G x 1/2 inch, 0.9 x 12mm. Does anyone know what these figures refer to, and are the figures given in two scales, or one?
Red.Yoyo
I bought a box of 100 from the company that sells the vaccine through the BHW a few years back. Give them a bell
jimmy white
i manage to get free needles from my vet , if needed, can only suggest you try chemist [with some proof what you want them for] or any government avian vet,, if short of needles , well worth wiping the needle with an alcohol wipe , b4 doing each pigeon, either for paratyphoid or paramyxo
