blaz Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 i have a 7 year old hen still no eggs from her .this hen has been away from me for 2 years . she is now settled back in hear. she handles very well and looks as bright as a button .she sits on nest bowl daily but her vent is still closed . any tips much apreshated.

cowman Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 ive got 2 birds like this cock has trob the hens they will sit in nest bowl most of the day but not lay this has been happening since early feb i took some eggs from the racing loft and stuck them under each hen they have hatched and reared 1 round each and now sitting their second round if they wont lay make use of them and get them to sit some eggs . btw the hens are 05 and 07
