Guest Doade Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Guys, I have just had Derek Cheyne on the phone. His loft was broken into last night and the following stolen: Gaditanos/Jiennenses/Laudinos/Horseman/Silesians and some Til's. If anyone hears of such birds being passed on do the right thing, let us know on the forum. Yours, George ps: Derek is from Edinburgh

pjc Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 these are rare specialist birds which will be easy to spot if sold on or in another fanciers loft. I suspect somebody knew exactly what they were looking for and where to find them!

pjc Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 and or somebody who may have tried to buy them!
Guest Doade Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 I have just spoken to him again and there are 28 pigeons in total gone. There is no point asking for police help in any form or shape. They have no interest in pigeons. They will stand out like sore thumbs, no doubt about it. All were rung with NPA or German rings, but by now would have been cut off. I hope he gets some back, even just to start again.
