I have heard this morning that Mr Gareth Williams was 1st & 2nd Open Welsh South East National , Maidstone yesterday? This is such great news. He works very hard full time in the week, and only races a small team of cocks. He has been having hawk strikes left right and centre all year and has lost many off the loft.

This will be his 2nd National win in the past few years. I think I am correct in saying that the 2 cocks that were clocked yesterday are brothers (different nests) and are bred out of his cock that won 1st National Ramsgate a few years ago. Very special pigeons.

Gareth lives in the same village as me , Rhewl Mostyn, in Flintshire. Gaz in the clock at  15.27 (x2),  chip shop boys in at 15.28 flying bout 5 , 6 miles less than Gaz.
