Which proves so reasonably thinkers that 'Breaking points' are in ones own head. Further, when the liberation point isn't on the way to the loft, does one really want - if able, let alone possible - to go of course to visit a spot way out just because it is a breaking point? :-/ :-/ :o
OLDYELLOW Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 few more miles and they wont fly over , breaking points can work to an advantage but only if they break from such a point wind can make them come an alternative route , you have to take the rough with the smooth , if birds go over they tend to favour the side of the wind where the furthest flyer is as the birds worjking back will reach furthest loft first , it also could be overloading the birdfs with too much grub as well and they are just flying for fun
Roland Posted May 24, 2009 Author Report Posted May 24, 2009 Yep, and as such, reality is seldom Line of Flight / Breaking points etc. are of any use. Training is purely to get mileage under winds... Perhaps to also sharpe the 'Homing Instincs' :-/ So if the latter is true, then it follows surely that different lib points would be of a benefit!
