pjc Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 when i was sec, no stamp, take it home! When i'm marking other peoples birds i check every one and have told sec if i find a bird without a stamp, its then down to them to decide fate! I know mine are stamped, i would like them back if they make a mistake or get injured enroute, why don't members stamp there birds? Are they racing strays, etc etc?
lithgilad Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 so one week u must stamp next week u wash it off expletive remove ?????????????

rembrant2coo Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 so does every bird get checked every week rule 121 ; Any pigeon not so rungor wing stamped will not be accepted for racing under any circumstances whatsoever and marking committees must ensure that this is strictly adhered to

pjc Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 watch oot pjc a telltale plz sir his bird no stamped lolllllllllllllllllllll would you rather a bird belonging to another club member got reported to the union as being race rubbered and not stamped? The union if doing its job and following the rules would suspend the club for allowing the bird to be raced, and that would include you! Which would you prefer?
lithgilad Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 i think there be no one racing next week then
Guest strapper Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 I'm in the nehu and theres no requirement to stamp think about it shouldn't the life ring be enough??? if not why not?? why should it be enough?...if so why so?...its because fanciers who find your bird instead of ringing your union to report your bird , being good enough to try and get that bird back to shouldnt have to be ringing twice .....as far as im concerned anyone who doesnt wing stamp or has some sort of id ring on is irresponsible. why should the country be littered with your birds with no form of id on?...not saying that they will be but in general. your fed allows this but i feel that every person should be responsible enough to have some id on the bird. as far as im concerned if its not got id on it then its not very likely to be reported if lost. ive wing stamped mine and always have phone rings on them too.

weecunny Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 the ring on the birds is reg at the shu or the nehu rpra to me .and it is reg in ma name surly anuff but mistakes happen
Guest strapper Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 the ring on the birds is reg at the shu or the nehu rpra to me .and it is reg in ma name surly anuff but mistakes happen the trouble with reporting a bird to a union is this...the bird gets reported on a monday...the union sends out a letter say within 3 days..so 4 days held so far...then the owner has 7 days to phone the finder...13 days in the finders possesion, owner rings finder ...can i send for bird ..reply... yes when?..be picked up in 2-3 days....so upto now the bird has been in the finders loft for over 2 weeks..does this really sound like fair to the finder? feeding and cleaning the muck up after a bird that doesnt belong to him for two weeks...and then like most times..the owner when getting the bird back cant even contact the finder to say thanks. if id on the bird the bird can be reported same day and either be liberated or collected either by owner or courrier. there is a big difference.
weecunny Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 well how come a report a bird they give me the owners phone num so a can call the owner soon as ow and a .lost a bird with 3 flites stamped and it took the finder 3 weeks to to phone me
