Problems over the weekend

I would like to say that I haven't been online all weekend (for obvious reasons) and have been reading through most of the posts that have been made and have noticed that there seems to be some members that are not happy with the new moderators and the moderation of the site.

 

Please note that with new moderators they are getting used to being moderators and taking on a different role on the forum and also encountering the same issues that the other moderators have in deciding whether a post should be locked or removed.

 

In the first instance if a post is removed, first check that the post hasn't been moved to another board for example from the notice board to general racing.

 

If the post was one that was causing problems then look to see which moderator is online and send them a PM to ask why (they may or may not know but will find out for you). The same for locked posts.

 

By posting up additional threads on the forum only causes more problems and I have seen many of these "why" posts which also turn into "lets have a go at the mod's" which isn't the way to go about things, as it makes it more difficult for a mod to post and sort out the problem with you, as instead they are faced with abuse. Believe me I have had this many times.

 

If you have an issue with anything please look for a moderator or administrator that is online and PM them with your issue or question

my problem this weekend [for which i recieved a written warning for airing my views ,welcome to  tiananmen square :o]was never with the new mods, just one of the old ones,i was never told at the time, why the posts were been locked/removed it was almost like this mod was baiting both myself and at least another member,this is the best site of its type on the web,but sometimes it appears to me that certain mods lock up a thread more to display power than to preserve the sites reputation,i do not want to get yet another warning for the sin of airing a view not in with the party line,but there must/is a very thin line between "keeping on topic" and a bit of banter,and this site is in danger of been over controlled [sorry just my view]

trousers and high heels - well jeans and high heels work quite nicely, seems we can get fashion advice on here aswell
