I've had this hen for 5 years know, she has scoerd as a yearling at newbury taking 1st club 1st sect 2nd open fed newbury 2005 . since then she has been hawked every year! from holes on her body too tail and flights missing, this year she s been hawked at otterburn under 100 mile from doo'kit. just today she has been training for eastbourne and guess what ???? hawked again? WHY?

just another thing her cock from the start of the year was "KILLED" by a sparrow hawk while out chasing her? he scored last year from failasie, and was one if not the only one that i was looking forward to for the national races.

Friend of mine has had his two best birds taken by percy. >:(  He saw it happen each time and reckoned that it was because the bird was separate ie out in front of the rest of the flock. :-/

what colour is she?  maybe a previous injury makes her fly in irregular pattern that stands out to hawks.

blue wf , her flying around loft is no different from others!

may be she's just unlucky(or you could say lucky to get away) i got a hen here now that was hawked twice in the same season, that same year she took 3 cards as well.

Good post that it's NOT just the unfit stragglers that are the victims of BOP as the pro lobby try to have us believe  ;)
