PigeonClarke Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Just read in Colin Walkers book that this is great for spray the loft/birds against mites and lice, cant find much info on it though, does anyone know if its available over here?
Surrey Flyer Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Hi, Permethrin is in most lice/flea sprays. The best one that i have come across is Ardap made by Quiko. Excellant gear. Bob
PigeonClarke Posted July 2, 2009 Author Report Posted July 2, 2009 Hi Bob, Had a look at it, can you spray the birds directly?
hepste Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 It's actually, plain common garden fly spray, available from any high st. store. I personally wouldn't spray directly onto pigeons.

DJ Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 clorcarb contains permithrin its sold by aviform on their website and is about £5 per sachet u mix it up into water and dip your birds into it i used it about a week ago and now all of my birds are completely free of all lice and mites brilliant stuff debbie ps ive heard some horror stories about people using fly sprays that contain permethrin to treat their birds i certainly wouldnt go down that road
Guest Blue Pied Cock Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 I can tell you now mate this product is superb, i get it direct from Colin Walker the ausi vet. The birds are dipped in the solution and keeps them clear for month's. This product to my mind is the best on the market by far.
