Tony C Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Used Duramitex as a dip years ago but at half strength, yes it cleaned them of lice. Added the rest of the bottle after dipping to spray lofts out against red mite.

jimmy white Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 was told years ago to dip birds using a third of a bottle of duramitex in warm water to a bucket of warm water, on a good dry warm day,, this most certainly did the trick,,
jimmy white Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 it is no where near as effective as the original duramitex! Kills Red mite etc but not a lot of use as a dip for feather mite etc. i do think the duramitex is weaker now than of old
Tony C Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 yes thats what im on about tony but were can i get it. This is an alterative http://www.aviform.co.uk/Store/Racing-Pigeon-Products/Health-$4-Condition/CHLORCARB-%E2%84%A2-
pjc Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 i do think the duramitex is weaker now than of old Its not the strength thats the problem its the active ingrediant. ~The previous component that was effective against all nasties was banned and they have tried to create a natural substitue.
