whiteracer Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Just need some advice please, one egg has hatched and the bird is 3days old now but still no sign of the other egg chipping, should i remove the egg or just leave it in the nest bowl to see what happens?
ally mac Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Probably empty but I would take it away anyway, too much time between the 2 if it were to hatch. Al.
whiteracer Posted March 13, 2009 Author Report Posted March 13, 2009 Cheers Al good point you made there.

Leroy Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 if you remove it, it might be worth replacing it with a pot egg to stop the hen sitting too tight and the chick developing splayed legs. Lee
