Guest strapper Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 everyone has heard in s/wales of idde davis of bargoed ,national winner /fed champion in recent years, plus numerous fed topping pigeons to boot. too much to mention. last week from swindon in the welsh north road fed s/east route he clocked an amazing 14 out of the top 19 positions in the fed..over 2000 birdage. he has been around the top of racing in wales for years. well done iddie!
Roland Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Oh yes, setting feats and standards most will ever dream about. Great flying, and actually is good to see. Well done. Was some good boxer too from the Bargoed boxing club. A couple of ABA champs and international back in the 60' / 70's. One very good lad was also called Davis... but then again Jones and Davis are popular names and as well known as Fish and Chips'.
maxwell Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Paul do you mean 14 in the Section as that birdage looks well down for it to be the Fed.
Guest strapper Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Paul do you mean 14 in the Section as that birdage looks well down for it to be the Fed. no m8..im pretty sure it was the fed alun ...it is very low for our fed....but heard lots havent sent because of little training and big sickness everywhere. i was counting them off the fed sheet lastnight. im in the north section and our section is usually 3000 plus in old birds...much higher in y/birds.
maxwell Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Thanks Paul thats why i asked as i thought it looked like section birdage.
