ive used them once and never again . I payed £6.99 for 48 hour postage and 60 hours later i still havnt recieved my parcel. ive phoned them about 6 times asking for a postage refund and they just fob me off they dont even apoligise for their errors they told me my parcel left them on monday so i contacted parcel force and was told they didnt collect a parcel for my adress untill yesterday (tuesday) i wouldnt recomend them to anyone .AVOID

Re Boddy and Ridewood, i have used them as a trade account holder as i have a pigeon and pet shop, probably the worst experience of my life, i would order goods for my customers, they would have very little in stock, lets say i ordered 30 items, i would be lucky to get 3 sent out, they then require you to re order again as they dispose of your original order rather than keep it as a back order and fill it when the stock comes in, you keep re ordering and 4 to 6 weeks and they still have not got it in, then your customer say's dont worry about it and cancels, however i leave the best till last, my customer sick of waiting contacts them direct and asks for the product and gets it sent out 2 days later!!!!!!!, so i ring them and ask if they have any in stock and suprise " Sorry none in" to which i reply well how is it that you have just supplied a friend and customer of mine.........no comment, well heres my take on them, they take your order, mess you about till your customer rings them direct and actually gets the item, so your customer then thinks i wont bother going there for my products any more they cant get them and i can in just 2 days. Clever, sneaky move, well all trade suppliers of pigeon products beware they are after making a fool of you to your customers, i will never place another order with them.

If people are so fed up with them why even post about them as someone said the other day, any advertising is good advertising, especially if its free.  What's the bets if people can't get stuff elsewhere they will use B&R no matter how crap they may be, they might not have heard of them before reading here either.  Think on and give them a wide berth might be best?  :-/

Now to add to my previous post, had an issue with them last week and the outcome was excellent, they've come up 99% trumps.  I'm still waiting for the 1% which should happen today or tomorrow, via the postman.

I have had  run ins with Boddy and Ridewood. The first was waiting 10 days for a 48 hour delivery, when I telephoned to complain I was told

1, the 48 hours is from the time they dispatch the items not 48 hours to when I receive the goods and,

2, Blackpool  show is in a couple of weeks and it is a busy time for us !!!

the next time I used the next day delivery and items were missing from the delivery I received, when I phoned to advice them I was treated as a liar.

We used them when setting up our loft and had spent about £2500 with them over the years, but never again.

I used boddy and ridewood a few times, the service was ok, but now i use Taylors choice,http://pigeons.taylorschoice.co.uk/index.php I placed my first order online the other week and i was very very pleased with the service. The prices were very good and i had next day delivery. The courier did have a miss hap,But this was put right by Taylors choice,even though it wasnt their fault.The other bonus with ordering with Taylors choice is you are informed via email when you goods have been dispatched.Keep up the good work Taylors choice you get 10/10 from me  ;D

i would never use them again their service is the worst ive come across...i ordered phone rings back in november and finally got my money 2 weeks ago after several calls and emails...they constantly say they will call you back but never do.. they never reply to emails..they always blame their suppliers if this is how they run a business they ought to shut down...mind you if others have the same problem they must make a fortune with everyones payments in their accounts...not one appology for all my trouble...would never recommend them to anyone....very poor company

As a lot have said there aftersales service is non existent, will never order for delivery, will only buy from them at Blackpool etc as they have good offers, you can see what your getting and you know they have it!

Thanks to dark chequer I sent my order to Taylors and not Boddy and Ridewood, the order came within 3 days and was £40 cheaper than if I had ordered it from Boddy and Ridewood. Thanks Dark Chequer,  Taylors will get my orders from now on

to all readers of this message avoid boddy and ridewood at all cost they promise the world and deliver nothing. i placed an order with them and payed for 48 hour delivery i recieved my delivery 4 days after i will never use them again . when i telephoned them to sort it out i asked for a refund on the postage and they just laughed at me . i asked to speak to a manager and he was about as ignorant as the idiots on the counter.what a w-n-er. i now use taylors choice they do exactly what they say. i placed an order today and they said i may not recieve untill tuesday next week you dont mind this if your told. taylors choice every time .
