Guest Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Kept pigeons over 50 years. Never had the loses in all that time that I have encountered in the past two years. BOP the main reason, but other factors are also to blame. This year alone 48 at start of training from different sources, and 16 left for first race tomorrow. Things getting progressively worse by the year. I wish, like so many others, what the answer is, and more importantly how to resolve it.

Guest Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Health Health Health, that is what i would say is the main reason for most of the losses in young bird racing today.I do except that hawks and other factors play a part but for me the majority of big losses lie at the door of health.Forgot to mention alot are just not good enough as well.
