Guest pigeon82 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 my love for the pigeons is just seeing them around the house i give so much time and dedication to them ill go in the loft and they just sit their so happy it just makes me proud and for the racing its not the winning all though i love to win but i just love it when theyre in sight as i know that their love is for me and getting back to their home just wondering what other peoples thoughts are and why you love pigeons and the racing might be a pointless thread but just writing to see others veiws of what they think

Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 i love being with my birds they help with the day to day stress . when i walk into my loft all i think about is my birds . i love racing them and getting that buzz on a sat .
chickadee Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 I just enjoy them although the scraping and cleaning does get a bit much at times. Regards tameness of the birds, one of the top fliers in Edinburgh that we know well has them extremely tame. I find my birds are tame to me more that other people, I can go in the loft and they don't bat an eyelid but when ###### goes in they keep out his way W will enjoy the racing as we have been at other fanciers houses on race day and it is a buzz seeing them come home and a bonus if they are winners, if not we shall still keep them no matter what
