how many of you put your life rings on upside down so as when marking checking ring number you can read it without having to twist your head ? i see the new life rings have to go the right way up for the ets modual to fit into it why cant they be done the other way now its going to be twisting heads again to check ring number are correct with ets ring .

Would of thought everybody would have done this,as for the  ets modual I have not seen any company actually advertising these yet,the new life ring which I have one here looks to me as if you can put them on upside down as the largest part for the ets is on the correct side of the ring.

i think the bricon module that just clips onto any life rig is a cracking idea but unikon have made an update now so they no longer work

I have the Bricon ones on all my youngsters,what do you mean when you say they no longer work.

Going to sound a bit dumb now, seen these advertised in homing world this week, but dont really know what they are? are they an ets/normal ring combined? anyone got a pic of 1?

said they were available from 2010, same price as 2009 rings, just an increase in postage?

are these replacing the normal rings?

i read up on a site iwas gonna get them from that unikon have release an update that stopped them from working on a unikon clock thats the only reason i didnt buy them, i also emailed mark palmer about them and he said they can onlu be used if unikon alow it

They are just the same as a ordinary ring but with a slot on the side for the ets modual to clip into for those with the ETS.

I,m not 100% certain but you have never been able to use Bricon  rings on Unikon and visa versa.

I wouldnt touch anything like that mate just stick to the proper Unikon or Bricon agents.JMO.
