edwards Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 OK so how many clubs do u think should be in a federation , do u think there should be a limit that u cant go below , ive heard that some feds only have 4 clubs competing in them only my view but i think a fed should have a lot more clubs in them than 4 ,, u see these results put up 20 1st feds , 30 1st feds but how many clubs and birds are they beating , now the NIPA 25000 + BIRDS A WEEK thats what i call a fed ,that 25000 birds is not every week plus its broke into sections mate is it not iv nerver seeing some in the nipa top a fed with 25,000 birds
fred smyth Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 that 25000 birds is not every week plus its broke into sections mate is it not iv nerver seeing some in the nipa top a fed with 25,000 birds i no it has sections ,, i dont no what ur last bit in post means http://www.geocities.com/ron_ville_lofts/RESULTS.html Ron Williamson (Bondhill Soc) won 1st Open NIPA Pilmore Beach (1) with 27,039 birds competing
Guest JPH Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 that 25000 birds is not every week plus its broke into sections mate is it not iv nerver seeing some in the nipa top a fed with 25,000 birds your right edwards the nipa is made up of loads of feds and combines. as i said fanciers can only win in the fed they can fly in and i dont think there 1st are any less earned. Some of these fanciers winning i the small feds could easily win in some of the larger ones and i dont think fred has any right to judge this. ;)
edwards Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 i no it has sections ,, i dont no what ur last bit in post means it means that the number of birds that go up there are not belong to one fed the have there own sections which are like different feds in there own right and when the nipa get numbers like that its mostly national and opens mate correct me if im wrong mate but i think thats the way it works like the south have a few different feds but when there combined savaged birdage?
fred smyth Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 your right edwards the nipa is made up of loads of feds and combines. as i said fanciers can only win in the fed they can fly in and i dont think there 1st are any less earned. Ulsterlofts Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 The NIPA has 8 sections that are put up together every week to race for the overall Open. The only time they are not lib together is the first 3 yb races , that is when they go up in sections or combined sections, but most inland races in the old birds and yb you would have 20,000+ birds all up together except when they have their Nationals when there is a 20 bird limit. fred smyth Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 what section you fly into mate? i said i dont fly in NIPA ,,, i will be flying in ulster fed next year
Guest gladdo Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 yeah but i think when birds have results there shouldbe put birdage at end to clear up anything .... its only my thought as our club in dublin sends more birds than some feds etc .... mikey (dublin , ireland ... ) for instance yesterday i was 6th club out of 645 birds in which would have won alot of irish clubs that sending 200 birds etc ... just a point !!! mikey
fred smyth Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 mikey thats all i was trying to say not all first mean the same thing , i would rather bye birds from a man that was beating 600 birds a week than from a man beating less than 100 birds,,
Ulsterlofts Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 its open results not fed mate is that it? there is no feds connected to the NIPA its 8 Sections that make up the NIPA into an overall OPen, hope this helps clear up any misunderstanding Yours In Sport

Turk Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 get real these small clubs small federations are been killed off no new members ,no chance of joining bigger federations ,because some of these small clubs might hold some great fanciers ,that is why clubs break up federations split .and these so called little clubs federations please can the last man turn the light out . then will the bigger clubs federations let them in NO CHANCE they might win everything.
Guest JPH Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 mikey thats all i was trying to say not all first mean the same thing , i would rather bye birds from a man that was beating 600 birds a week than from a man beating less than 100 birds,,dosent mean you are buying better birds. the man beating 100 birds could have the best in the world and the man beating 600 could have 6 fanciers sending 100 birds each and not a good one amongst them. Dont make sence :-/ :-/

greenlands Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 mikey thats all i was trying to say not all first mean the same thing , i would rather bye birds from a man that was beating 600 birds a week than from a man beating less than 100 birds,, Don't agree with that statement, just because the birdage is low dosen't take it away from the pigeon, maybe if the 600 birds were flying in the same circumstances as the 100,the one that won from 100 entries would still win.
