BLACK W F Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 its a free world let them please them selves
Guest bigda Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 RSPB or anyone can register as a member anyway and take anything they like there not going to tell you there doing it are they so makes no difference if there guests or not. And as for keeping banned users of they could use someone elses pc to register a different name and be on all the time ,correct me if im wrong. again your right, but the thing you have said is this and ill repeat if your a member you belong to a group all the same and only when they join can they then, copy any threads but as it stands on here they can copy all they want and use it as there own idea on another forum, to have them to register is only making them part of the community there you have there ip address there are a few on here, who can and have taken screen shots from other forums, but mainly hid or like to be invisable thats not very sociable to me but heh ho there problem
Thimbles Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 I think guests should be allowed say a week, to browse to see if they want to join, After the week they have to join up or ip should be blocked until they sign up. Just my opinion. how would that work in an internet cafe any1 using that cafe cant browse the site after someones been on it after a week i dont think thats sensible
Guest strapper Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 how would that work in an internet cafe any1 using that cafe cant browse the site after someones been on it after a week i dont think thats sensible i think in most groups on the internet you have to join to view, some people that will be against this and there will be those for it...thats natural. what we dont want is those coming onto this discussion to take a jibe at a member.(dont mean you by the way) we must remember that we can discuss this all we like, but this isnt our site and we can only comment as members. when i started this thread all i wanted was a decent view from members...wasnt aiming for it to get close to the edge on some posts. but this is how most threads get too, when views are aired. what we must remember is i was looking at constructive views not one aiming a jibe at another because they think differently. so i think its only right we should all think b4 it gets out of hand ...like any other discussion you can only achieve something better if we all aim for the same thing....that is discussion without slanging matches.

Thimbles Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 This site is well moderated so what do we have to hide
Guest Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 I believe the content of this thread goes a long way to show why so many choose only to be guests.Registered members can access parts of the forum guests cannot, so there are advantages to being a member that guests do not have.Personally i could not give a toss.
