Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Is you Bird anygood of the stock loft or is it for racing? Not going to tell any lies mate and put it on open forum. The hen is a 3yr old tthat I bred from Jimmy stevensons bird which I took over late 2005 with no records let bird pair how they wanted. She had every race from a youngster till Falaise this year apart from 1st race of this year which was 52miles Her nest mate was in the clock almost every week from a youngster till I pushed him to far last year and lost him. The sire is bred from Andy Miller (fantastic Pigeon Man) which I bought from him Last year as young birds Never took anything from them for myself or anyone this is the only youngster from them which will be in the sale this year. Hope that helps mate

Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 where in the hall were you greig? I was standing at the back door with the yellow T Shirt on with my mate who had a Plastic I mean leather jacket on and baseball cap.
Guest 67ghirl Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 LOL wish I'd had more time to find out who people were :-/
Delboy Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 could have been better I think as in a bigger hall alot of people standing outside which could have been potential bidders I agree, it could have been held in a bigger hall but, in recent years very little people were turning up and the Newmains club was adequate. How many National sales have you been to in the last few years ?
PETER KUYPER Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Good sale by the price of some of the birds.?

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Considering the current financial climate.......a VERY good sale [/quote Yes Angela £137 per pigeon is very good, although there were a few bargins to be had these were bred from pigeons that took prominent positions within the Natioanl results this year. Believe this year the top price was Jim Cullen's pigeon that made £330. 8) 8)
