i sent 2 pigeons to leesay, there were no pigeons in the club yesterday, i was told yesterday evening by sec that it was a one day race,. at 7.45 thismorning my first bird came wich i didnt clock thinking the race was over, turns out i would have won the club, for the first time,.  by the time i found out the race wasnt over it was 9 40 so i clocked and now im third club. would have been nice to get the red card. peed off. :( :( :B

i most deffinatly wont get caught out again, and it is nice to know that it should have won but its the red card i wanted.... oh well we all live to race another day :)

sorry to hear this secretarys out of order with false info but to be advised to go put 1 on him thats only gonna get you suspended not a good piece of advice is it...

 

bad luck m8,,take it on the chin makes u a better man and u know in ur own mind u had the 1st bird home ;) ;)

Two points.  :) (1) Always check the rules for the race before you enter, at least know 'hours of darkness', when the race closes (time or velocity) and the time for clock meeting. (2) Time the pigeon anyway ~ you only know the result and your position in it at the clock meeting.

 

Seems to have been a hard race. As others say, you know your bird was first and that is something you can work with next year.

 

Pleased you took the 'punch' comment as a joke, personally I feel that that kind of comment can easily be taken the wrong way, and could lead some into trouble.
