harky Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 how manny of thses birds few in the one loft race, as i cant see over half of them mentioned at the marking, are they chancing there arm for a sale or what :o Danny these birds are bred of the best people have in their lofts ,so they have got to be worth something , try entering one and see how hard it is getting it to the last race never mind winning it
Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky i am only asking did they fly or did they not fly the last race or any race
Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 i can only find 8 of them birds that went to the last race and there are a few that never went to any why is that do you think and as you say harky there best our best go to the eastbourne open would you by the ones that finished last
thomasd Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 i think it was 29 in the final race 12 made it back maybe more than that not sure i heard it was a hard race and the rest were injuryed thought out the program anything sill there are good pigeons the ones that enter put their best in
Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 there are birds that never went to any race for sale dont think they are worth buying

thomasd Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 yea they were injuryed but the ones done every race and r sill r there r worth buying
Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky when our fed did wetherby which is much further would you buy the birds that didn't go, or were last in the race, as the winers are not for sale, i think the winner of our own wetherby race and the first 50 are a better buy than them and i bet you could get the winner in our race for less

Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky thats good nothing wrong in that, buy Geordie's, will that breed winners i don't know all i am saying is IMO they are not worth buying as we all have birds that get injured but we can"t expect some one to buy them, they are not all champions only the best in each persons dooket in there opinion. the one loft races are fantasy races, for the guys that want to win £30,000 nothing more, as the fanciers that send them cant condition them as they would them self, so its a lottery as to who looks after your section of birds, but shouldn't need to tell you that

Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky what exactly did these bird do that you defend they had less racing than your own birds
harky Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky what exactly did these bird do that you defend they had less racing than your own birds danny try basketing your lot of youngins and let them go from hexham their selfs , how many do you think you will see, try sending a doo to one of these races and im sure it will change your mind about them
Guest bigda Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 harky are all the birds not broke to there new loft, are all the birds tossed together week in week out are all the birds fed the same feed and you say hexham they never raced from there i believe they went with another fed ,but cant say for sure so what problem do they have to overcome, take the important part greedy fanciers wanting and dreaming of winning the :Dloot, and the potential breeding fees, and at the same time trying to recoup there losses from venerable guys with the sale of there birds ;D ;D

It would not bother me if a won ef all as long as i finished first and beat the best of what other doo men have to offer, every bird has the same chance as each other .
