Roland Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 So pleased for you Grasshopper Lofts. That will stand them in good stead. Allow 2/3/4 days now of them just piddling about in the garden / roof hopping. There is no need to train etc. yet any way. This will rein force the confidence and let them grow very contented. Only contented birds win races. Indeed if they are contented, there is not much chance of them homing with any zest.... and very hard - if not impossib;e - to condition them
Simeon Turner Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Damian, Hope you are well. I know at the time you must have been worried, but looking back now this will have set you in good stead for the future, the birds will have learned so much in there time - I would like to be you don't lose many now after that. Good luck for the YB season.
