i got a phone call last night from w pryde and son . thanking myself the breeders and buyers in the sale. he could not express his thanks enough . he was saying how defastated himself and young john where at the loss of their lofts baskets and their prize possessions their birds. then he he started to tell me how thankful him and his son are for the sale we are having.then we where talking about some of the good pigeons that got burnt alive. as you can expect emotions run high when disaster like this happens. then he told me how thankful him and his son are for the sale and how much it is going to help rebuild their lofts etc etc. we then talked about yesteryear and winning fed trophy,s namely the gold cup in midlothian fed. the name  w pryde and son are on it more than ones.he then went on to say how thankful they both where at yes our sale.we then talked about how tame his birds where.then he went on to say how THANKFUL he and his son are at our sale to help them rebuild their loft and way of life . so if any of you did not pick up what has been said

Well done Gary and all who donated and have bid on birds.

It's at times like this when you are at an all time low, that the encouragement and comradeship of fellow fanciers, can help rebuild ones faith in this fantastic hobby. Long may it continue.

Wife just phoned to say they had the person responsible for this dreadful act,if they are to blame they should be given a jail sentance and made to pay damages.

Can only repeat what has been said already, well done m8, it,s people like you that convince others who have experienced a dissaster to carry on ;)
